What we need to size a pump
Clean water, transfer duty
Suction lift, or a pump above the liquid level
Sump, pit or effluent
Viscous fluid — oil, resin, bitumen
High pressure, low flow — dosing, jetting
Pressure testing a vessel or a pipeline
Send the fluid, the flow, the head and the temperature. For a pump that has failed, the nameplate is enough to start.

A worn casing is not always a new pump
Scored volutes and pitted casings can often be rebuilt cold rather than replaced, and an erosion face can be coated rather than left to wear again. We supply both the pump and the repair, so the recommendation is not weighted toward the more expensive answer.
