Heavy and special plate for shipbuilding, offshore engineering, wind power and pressure vessels comes from a specialist mill. Send the classification society or code your fabrication is built to, and we confirm the grade against it before quoting.
Where wear plate earns its cost.
Wear plate is bought on hardness and thickness rather than on tensile grade. A chute lined once in abrasion-resistant plate and a chute hardfaced on a cycle are two answers to the same problem. We supply both, so the recommendation is not weighted toward either.

Where a grade is substituted with your agreement, the substitution is stated on the quotation rather than discovered at delivery.

Will the mill test certificate match the heat number on the plate?
Yes. Material is supplied with the mill test certificate traceable to heat number, which is what an inspection will ask for.
Can you supply to a classification society or pressure vessel code?
Send the code or society and the plate schedule. We confirm the grade against it before quoting rather than after.
Is this Indian or imported material?
It varies by line, and we state it on the quotation. Heavy and special plate is imported. If your tender needs a local-content position, tell us and we will confirm what qualifies before you bid.
Do you hold stock?
No. We don’t carry sample quantities of steel; we order against your requirement.
How quickly do you respond to an enquiry?
We respond to any enquiry within 24 to 48 hours.
What are your payment terms?
We expect payment, in full, within 30 days of delivery of the goods requested. For some of our products and services, we may require some payment in advance.
